Dr. Hassan Sharshar, Dr. Lobna Nagib, Dr. Hossam Sharshar and Dr. Mohamed Sharshar are a husband, a wife and their sons are dentists who work as a team in Sharshar Dental Group

Dr. Hassan and his family worked as associates at several offices in Alberta and overseas before deciding to open their own clinics Sharshar Dental Group in North and South Edmonton. They are very excited about being here in Edmonton and enjoy meeting the current, as well as, the new patients of Sharshar Dental Group. They all take great pride in getting to know their patients and providing treatment that is right for you. With state of the art technology, Dr. Hassan, Dr. Lobna, Dr. Hossam and Dr. Mohamed will show you what is wrong instead of just telling you there is something wrong. They believe in earning your trust and want you to feel comfortable in coming to see the dentist.

Dr. Hassan Sharshar

Dr. Hassan Sharshar  is a 1987 graduate of Dental School in Cairo University and has been licensed in Canada to practice as a general dentist after challenging the National Dental Examination Board of Canada. He completed an internship at an Educational Hospital after graduation where he obtained training as a general dentist in surgical removal of wisdom teeth and  accidental injuries/trauma management.

Dr. Hassan has been practicing dentistry since 1987 and through hundreds of hours of continuing education courses he brings with him the most current knowledge in dental technology. .

Dr. Lobna Nagib

Dr. Lobna Nagib  is a 1987 graduate of Dental School in Cairo University and has been licensed in Canada to practice as a general dentist after challenging the National Dental Examination Board of Canada. She completed an internship at an Educational Hospital after graduation.

Dr. Lobna has been in dental practice, since 1987. Dedicated to her profession, she is constantly expanding her knowledge and skills in restorative and cosmetic services. Dr. Lobna helped start Sharshar Dental Group, where she is successfully helping her patients that suffer from dental pain and offer cosmetic treatment as well. She is a member of both the Canadian Dental Association & the Alberta College of Dentists.

Continuing education is a priority to Dr. Lobna and each year she attends a variety of meetings and classes as well as reads a variety of peer reviewed publications. Her warm and gentle approach combined with excellent clinical skills will make your dental experience pleasant and positive.

Dr. Lobna works to improve the appearance and confidence of individuals and to help eliminate the perception that dentistry has to be uncomfortable.

Dr. Hossam Sharshar

Dr. Hossam attended the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada where he graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMSc)  & also has attended dental school  at the University of Alberta and received a Doctor of Dental Surgery doctorate (DDS). During dental school, Dr. Hossam received numerous scholarships.  One of the highlights of his dental school experience was travelling to the communities  High level & La Crete to provide dental care to rural and under-served populations.

He has been through several post graduate courses in different fields of dentistry since receiving his DDS degree.

Dr Hossam has been practicing dentistry for 10+ years now. He currently focuses on Invisalign & accelerated orthodontics.

His approach to your treatment starts with patiently listening to you. Then, after a complete and thorough examination, he reviews and discusses the diagnosis and treatment options with you.

Dr Hossam is married and have three children Hassan, Mohamed and Hala.

Dr. Mohamed Sharshar

Dr. Mohamed attended the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada where he graduated with distinction in 2012 with a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering-Process Control. After graduating Dr Mohamed attended dental school  at the University of Alberta and obtained both a BSc. of Medical Sciences and a Doctor of Dental Surgery.  During dental school, Dr. Mohamed received numerous scholarships.

Dr. Mohamed is trained in general and restorative dentistry and looks forward to building a long lasting relationships with his patients’ at  Sharshar Dental Group.
